Navigator rough idle

I noticed the other day, my truck is running a little rough. It also gets poorer mileage than my old Navi did. It's a 2000 4x4 32valve. I put half a can of Seafoam in about a week ago with less than a 1/4 tank left hoping it would help, but not much luck.

Any help would be great.

Does it run rough just when idling, or all the time?

Just when I'm stopped while in gear. Once it is moving or put into neutral, everything is fine.

Try cleaning the throttle body plate. I had this same problem on my '97 Expedition when it had around 75k miles on it. I cleaned the throttle body plate & have not had the problem since.

I'll try the throttle body plate tomorrow. I'll wipe a little Seafoam on it and see if that will do it.

IAC, where is that located on the Navi? There's something just behind the where the plastic portion of the intake ends, bit I think that's the TPS, isn't it?

Oh heck, I can't remember because I moved it for the S/C install. I *think* it's on the top driver's side on the Intech. It's a silver cyclinder about 11/4" in diameter nad has a 3/4" hose going to it.
