Your chip is being used to adjust your timing but you also need a different fuel map to make up for the ~30% greater fuel flow you need with E85. Running E50 would not require as much fuel enrichment. Unfortunately it is not only the fuel delivery and storage system that needs modification. There are sensors on a FFV to determine the ethanol percentage in the fuel and adjust for it. To do that the vehicle computer requires additional programming.
Conversion costs will never be paid for by fuel cost savings. Damages to an engine due to pinging or a lean mixture or fuel system problems from corrosion will far exceed any fuel cost savings with ethanol mixtures. It is better to just keep your present system in top shape and use the proper fuel for it.

I have been to the e-web site and there are con versions that snap in your truck and thats all you need no lines no tank no tuner only prob they say might happen fuel pump might lose pressure because it will get cleaned up and the wear will cause low pressure but thats all cost 485.00 gonna get mine with first plow check my 03,5.4 needs more alt.fuels its hungry
