Ranger sells a dropping like a brick, in my opinion, it's all because of the crewcab option, I don't think ford can't wait untill 09, at least on the crewcab. Like you say, they allready have it, there's no r&d cost. I personaly don't need it, but america is screaming for it. I predict, soon we will see a crewcab, and a 4 cylinder turbo diesel option. Ford can't aford to wait to long , or those ranger buyers thier lossing, they might not get back, truck sells are there bread and butter.
Henery Ford once said, " were a car company that sells trucks.
Bill Ford now says, "were a truck company that sells cars.
This is apparently the thread that I was reading about where people are aggressively debating the claims that aftermarket parts companies are making and how much better your vehicle will be with an "X" part or a "Y" part. All I can say to that is that I have a K&N panel filter in my '99 Explorer Sport and I'm not seeing improvement in any aspect of my vehicles operation.

And you probably won't. I had the same experience with my '99 when I added the big K&N cone filter. It appears (to me) that a K&N with no other mods simply adds unneeded air to an engine that is not starving for air under normal driving conditions. I have no doubt that this statement will set off another barrage.
