Question Clicking sound when turning....HELP !!!

I have an '02 Ranger edge 4x4 with the constantly engaged front end. I am hearing a clicking noise when making turns or when backing up with the wheels cut to the right. It seems to be coming from the front drivers side. I have checked the CV boots and they are in good shape. Does this sound like a wheel bearing, CV joint or something else? How do I check?

The most common is a bad cv joint. Jack it up and inspect it. Check the bearings for roughness, check cv joints for wear/play and look over the rotor for cracks or rough spots.
