Leaking Oil?

Ok guys, I'm suffering from brainfartitis and need some answers here. I grabbed this hose yesterday and got a handful of gold colored goo. It seemed thicker than motor oil but not by much. I had just changed the oil in the truck and just happened to grab onto this hose. The question I've got is....what is this hose and how can I fix a leak coming from this connection? It runs into the HPOP but I'm just blank (aka don't know enough about this to be sure). Whatcha got?

that is an a/c line. could be a small leak that is allowing refrigerant and oil out. to fix the line must be replaced. i would take it to a shop that does a/c work and have them leak test the line before you replace it to be sure.

go wash the hell out of your hands after getting into that a'c oil. PAG oil is bad and stands for poisons all gonads. Let the refer guys worry about that stuff if you dont have testing equipment.
