laptop as a tuner?
well i was looking at my dads old superchip tuner. i noticed that the connector cable has a plug for the OBD computer but then on the other end is just a standard 9-pin serial port. just curious but is it that easy to hook a laptop up to the OBD computer and be able to change settings given the right interface and software?
i used to be decently proficient in prgramming C and C+ so i may see if i canb make something happen

There was a link on here a while back to a software site that had software to do all kinds of diagnostics including buzz test and contribution tests plus stuff i didnt have a clue about. Oh ya, i think it tested all sensors as well. Price was 4 or 5 hundred and up.
