New Process 435

I've got a 78 bronco 4x4 with the New Process 435 transmission. I'm getting tired of it stalling, and I've never liked 4 speeds. Is there a 5 transmission, auto or manuel, that will fit in without too much work. It needs to be able to handle a good 350 horse. What year and modle could I rip it out of at the junk yard?

The ZF 5 speed is probably your next best option. You can find them in the later '80's and '90's 3/4 or bigger trucks (mostly). You will need an adapter from a company called Advance Adapters to bolt it up, I think it costs $700 for that alone. You could try a search of this forum for ZF swap for more information.
