Rpm?

What is a good RPM range for a 302 motor running at 65 mph.

depends 1900-2500rpms.

what rig,year, tranny, gear ratio , tire size are you running?

I'll just throw out a random gear that may be common. With the stock tires and a 3.55 in the back, I'd say about 2000-2100 would be right. Adjust accordingly for different back ends and tire sizes.

Ideally Id say 22-2500 would be optimum. If your getting 1800 or less then your under geared....(or tires too big).
