I guy on eBay was selling a set of these E7TE heads and he stated they fit 78 and up 302 engines and I was wondering what had changed between 1977 and 1978. I guess he was mistaken about the application years. Thanks.
It's a direct interchange for 78 and up, but will fit most years of production. The main difference is the 77 and earlier had different rockers and pushrods.
