Gears

What gear ratio would a STOCK 83 F-250 4x4 460 and 4speed have in it. I know the truck was an XL model (work truck), I pulled out the trans and rear end out there is no tag on the rear. Anyone got a guess? I say 3.50 or 3.55??

It all depends on what the GVWR of the truck is. If it's rated over 8600lbs GVWR, it'll likely have 4.10 gears. If it's under 8600lbs, it'll have 3.50-3.55 gears.
