F150 would have had: 300 (4.9l)I6, 302 (5.0l) V8, 351w (5.8l) V8
F250 would have had all of the above and also a 460 (7.5l) V8
F350 would have had all of the above and possibly the 6.9 diesel, I forget what year it was introduced. Also I don't think the 302 was offered in a F350.
No, not from the factory. If you wanted to swap one in, it wouldn't really be difficult. You'd need a heavier set of springs (or coil over shocks) for the front, and the big block frame mounts, and the big block transmission. If it's a manual you can get by with a bellhousing change (if it's removable), if it's an auto most of those are fixed bellhousings so you'd need the entire transmission.
the 302 was not available in an f-250; however the 300 inline six was available in a f-250. the biggest motor in an f-150 in 84 was the 351, once you got to the f-250 then you could get the big motors. also don't forget the 300 was available in an LP gas version.
