mating a 223 and a c4
Well it will if you have the '64 Bellhousing that was available for the 223 I-6 in the medium size Sedans, as this is the 1st year that the C-4 was available & the last year for the 223 I-6 or have an adaptor made by 1 of the companies that specializes in Trans Adptors.
Those Bellhousings were Only manufactured for 1 year, I believe that states it all & I've yet to locate 1 for myself.
W/ that Bellhousing or a proper adaptor the C-4 will snug right into place, but the trans mounts might have to be moved as if you've Not already an Auto Trans in place.
Manual trans mounts are located differently & will require a Different Propellershaft.
