odometer??

I have an 87 bronco II.....right now its in my yard, where i do all of the work to it, like rust work etc...geting her ready for when i start driving...being that i lack a license (im 15) i usally start and move my bronco back and forth and use the brakes every so often so nothing seizes up, and so the motor stays in good running order. The manaul sed in order to let the brakes adjust, you have to drive in reverse and apply the brakes. Which i did, i dorve in circles in my yard in reverse appling the brakes ever 10 so ft. After doing that for a little while i went to drive my bronco back to its normal parkign spot...when i noticed to tripometer says "999" it was reset at 000 prior to me moving it, i know i didnt drive any 999 miles in my yard so i assumed it simply rolls back when you go in reverse.

I didnt check the odmeter prior to doing this, so i didnt know if the rolled backwards ethier. Dose anyone wiht a bronco II notice if that also spins backwards when driving in reverse....

Thats pretty funny if it dose LOL....then again, you can always lie about the mileage of this vehicle if you really wanted too, being that once you go over 99,999 miles, it resets back to 00,000 hahahah.
