I havent been there for a few years either, last time I did go they told me they couldnt sell complete vehicles either, but I said what about for the right amount and the guy grinned and said of course!
Not the guy I talked to about the 53 F350, it was no way they could sell it. I don`t know why as the scrap price back then wasn`t much...Probably less the $75!
You just need someone to distract the guy in the office and Fomoko you use your bobcat to bring it out side the parts area.
Pretty hard to sneak a Lincoln past the front door of Bucks office, might be worth a shot if it`s the only way.
Seems crazy to crush some of the vehicles Bucks do. A few years back the was a mint 69 Mustang that was rust free, decent paint that was in the parts only row, I didn`t even ask....
Don`t know why anybody would sell an older vehicle to Bucks unless they need peanuts, that`s all Bucks will pay no matter what vehicle you bring to them.
Leaks between the the 2 of them on my 300 six.
I also notice a 1 1/2 in crack on the intake manifold where the exhaust and intake bolt together. Anyone got a good 300 six intake for my 85 laying around?
I should have mentioned that Paso1 installed a split manifold from a newer Ford truck on his 84? F150/300-6. If you haven`t replaced your`s yet this maybe an option, it helped to wake his truck quite abit, sounds and running much healthier after the swap and installing the four barrel carb. Pm him to see if it helped with the fuel milage and to see if he still has the manifold.
