any projects ?

how many have a project they are working on? My 56 M100 is in pieces, we are finishing up the frame so it can be painted, reassemblied and the cab can go back on. It will be interesting to see how the 302/C4/steering column all fits with the Mercury car front clip. I am using the rear springs/hangers from a 75 F100 and a 9 in Ford rear end. Still body work to be done on the box, running boards and fenders. The cab body work is finally, rust free and looking great.

Just the Crew Cab it's an ongoing project, finishing up the install of the buckets for the rear seats, then a rust patch on one pillar, then concentrate on the interior; insulation, rugging, door seals, then body work. Bed is pretty, actually very rough. Eventually body work and paint, very eventually!!

Many of you all know about my 57 3/4 ton. The 292 is currently being worked on and the body is at home torn apart. Just needs TLC.

Fomoko, You should have also used the car rear suspension. You'd have a triangular four link with coil springs. I've been doing research and planning for something big on my '51.....

Nothing final yet that can`t be changed. I did consider using the 80 Mercury rear suspension and may do so later. Another possiblity is a four bar. I just want to get the 56 back together and on the road again. I`m sure there will be afew things to redo or change after afew trips.

Well Tuesday will be changing shocks on the truck. The weather is nice enough for me not to woose out. Near future have to change the manifold gaskets. Leaks between the the 2 of them on my 300 six.
I also notice a 1 1/2 in crack on the intake manifold where the exhaust and intake bolt together. Its not broken just a crack that the exhaust fumes from the gasket leak have adhered to. So I may need another intake manifold. This tells me the crack is sucking air in through the crack. anyone got a good 300 six intake for my 85 laying around?

Amigos comes to mind but you are aways away. Maybe after work so to save traveling as far. Another place would be Bucks Auto Parts..249-7278, closer and cheaper, bring your own tools. I can ask a friend if he wants to sell one from his spare 300-6 engine. It is an 89 so it maybe different with fuel injection....

Yes 89 fuel inj. will not work. I'm thinking Friday to go to Bucks and use the credit card and get a few other things while there. Make a day of it.

Fomoko, if you decide to use the car rear suspension, I'd use ranchero rear springs. It will still sit at the same level but will have a payload capacity of about 750-1000 lbs (depends on what GVW of the car).

List it in the for sale as is. As always I`m curious as to the price, miles, colour/equipment and condition.

Yeah, only bad thing is the more I fix it up, the more experience I get, and the more cash I get for it!

And the more cash you will spend on it. At least that`s how it seems when I do it so I don`t fix to sell, only to keep.

2 projects. The '52 F3 is kinda stalled right now. The '96 is an ever present project. It may never be done!
