pro-comp tires

anyone had any experience with the all terrain pro comp tires? They have buy three get one free throught the end of the month, and I found a good deal on 285's. I am still leaning towards Nitto terra grappers, unless conviced otherwise. Thanks!

I just put a set of pro comp all terrains on my truck. I got them used from a guy that put 20" wheels on his truck. I've only ran them a few hundred miles on my own, but they have over 25k from previous owner and still have over 50% tread. So far I really like them, nice ride and not loud on the highway.

They are great tires. My friend has some 31's on his Ranger, and loves them. The Mud Terrains are awesome in the mud....I want some, but my other friend has 17K miles on his Wrangler with 33's and they are half gone.

I do a lot of highway driving during the week, and like to play in the dirt on the weekends. I drive a total of 500 miles a week. Will these ties wear so fast that I would just be wasting my money? 20,000-30,000 miles?

Thumbs down

Yes

Can't believe all the guys that put on mud terrian tires and only run the black-top.........what a waste..........poor mileage, poor wet road handling, poor braking, poor fuel mileage, noisey,..........then they grip cause they only are getting 20,000 miles out of a set of tires.

The A/T's have a 50,000 mile guarantee on them.

Or, if you want something more agressive...the Yokohama Geolander A/T +II have a 40,000 mile guarantee
