i have x-terrains......LOVE'EM......they are awsome in the mud and snow and are supprisingly quiet on the road.....i had a set of A/T BFGoodrich tires on my other truck and the X-Terrains are quieter then those......supposible wear to about 55 K whitch is about right....my buddy has them on his truck and has almost 50 K on them now and they wore good and got good milage out of them.....PRO-COMP made a good tire
I have my first set on now. All terrains. Have about 2k on them and so far they are great. Just waiting for the chance to get em in the snow to see how they will do. I used to run nothing but BFG All terrains but I got these pro comps on a great sale.
If you are interested in the mud terrain's, they are a great tire. I can tell you that on the road, they are very quiet and they don't break traction in the rain like i have noticed with other big tires that i have run; the worst being thornbirds-they really suck! Unfortunately, I haven't gotten the chance to try them out in the mud b/c I only had them on for about three weeks when I T-Boned a drunk driver which totalled my truck. His insurance Co. only gave me enough money to replace my truck no money to replace all of my mods so I took everything off the truck that was worth taking off and left the insurance company a POS with no tires to come pick up. Now, I have another 97 F150 and I'm just waiting and saving up money so I can buy a lift for my new truck and put my tires on it. It looks so pitiful siting at stock height. Sorry I got off track. I'm still irritated about it and wanted to share that bit of info. But, the procomp tires are a good choice. You wont be dissapointed. Oh yeah, the mud terrains work great off-road. I only know that b/c I've been out with a friend of mine who runs them on his Nissan.
