351w heads

i have a crown vic in a buddy of mines yard that is a 1974 with a 351w will those heads work even if it a 2 barrel carb im not sure if its two barrel or 4 im going to look soon

Yea, those will work. No difference between 2 bbl and 4 bbl 351W heads those years. The only year there was a 4 bbl 351W then was 69. There wasn't another till the mid 80's 351HO pickup motor. But didn't matter, the intakes are interchangeable.

i thought that 69 was only year they made a true 351W 4 barrel engine. and on the cleveland heads i stated i was not sure what all you had to change to run them. 4V means 4 Barrel heads not 4 valves per cylinder. No such thing
