I have an 04' Ford F-350 cc with a V10, I am looking at a Gibson exhaust part #GIB-9004 which is a dual extreme side exit cat back system. It exits after the rear tire on an angle on either side. I want to know do I have to remove the factory spare tire and how loud is it because I don't really want the loudness I just want the look as well as the performance, also what size are the pipes. Is this a good system? I asked these questions to the place I am going to buy the system from but the never got back to me. I really appreciate the help. Thanks.

 

have you tried calling gibson...that would give you the quickest answers

 

I doubt it'll be that loud... most Gibson systems (except the SuperTruck) are pretty mellow.

 

I cant speak for the side swept on a V10 but on my dads 04 dodge, it is very loud. I drove it today for the first time and I hated the Gibson for the interior drone. Hemi V8 and V10's are two different beasts. The V10's cat muffels the sound more than you can imagine.
