In the cool still quiet of night, you can hear chevies rusting away.
Consider a better muffler than a $10 glasspack. E.g. Dynomax super turbos sound very nice and are longer lasting. Your local exhaust shop probably has them or summit sells them for sure.
I heard glasspacks, as well as metalpacks are bad for your engine anyway. Something about back pressure, or compression? I would advise going with the trusty FlowMaster 40 series- I have em and boy do they rumble. My brother has glasspacks on his 71` Bronco w/a 302, and it sounds so dirty. Dirty, but loud. I went for a nice rumble over a roar.

Tristin, Ya gotta quit hanging and listening to the chevy and rice burner owners. It just aint a drop o truth to your statement. Metalpacks is new to me but guys have been running glasspacks for 50 or more years now, successfully too.

HHAHA it wasnt Chevy- I dare not taint my self by being seen with those guys. This info was passed down to me from my brother- he said his friend who owns a 1967 Chevelle (bah) has metalpacks, same concept as glasspacks, except very illegal. I guess he was complaining, and then my friend with a 1966 Mustang was considering them but heard the same thing do hes going with Flowmaster 40s. I was just passing along the word, but thank you, cause now I know its not true. But it is proven that metal or glasspacks are dirty and loud- not exactly the enjoyable daily driver sound.
Tristin
Sorry, You gotta stop listening to your brother that is listening to the chevy guys. (bad info link there) Most guys run the glass packs because they love the noise in their daily drivers.
