I would have to say Dale Earnhart Jr

 

I would say that it will probably be a Rousch or Hendrick car. I think Jr. wont do much any more until he leaves DEI. I think the biggest problem with that team is the Dale Earnhart influence is no longer there.

 

Why would you say junior is gonna win? He seems to be doing better, for now, but still has a ways to go before contending, IMO.

As much as I want Mark MArtin to win, I just think he is too nice a guy to do it. I think Biffle has a good chance, if he continues to climb in the points, but short of those two, I'd love to see Kenseth win again.

 

i'm a 24 fan and as such of course that would be my1st pick. but setiment says mark martin in his last yr would be really cool

 

Now Now Ido agree that Earnhart influces isnt there any more

 

Jimmy Johnson's been running STRONG. I could see him taking it home at the end of the year.

Jimmie Johnson always have good start, but he sucks during chace for the cup.

If he could drive better during last 10 races, he could probably win the cup.

 

As much as it pains me to say it, I say Jimmie Johnson. I cant stand the guy, but more often the not his is the car to beat.

 

who i THINK and who i want to win are probably 2 different things. If cheater Johnson doesn't get caught cheating(notice I didn't say he will STOP cheating,just not get caught),he stands a good chance of winning as much as I hate to say it. now,who I want to win and if you ask me has a good chance if he can stay out of other people's messes is ol #6. and then any ford driver after that.

 

It will be whoever NASCAR chooses providing he has no really bad luck. Proper timing of "debris" cautions and the lucky dog as well as the green-white-checkered finishes insures that they will a great impact on the eventual winner.

I'm not a Johnson fan, I do like him better than Jeff Gordon, but still, not my type of guy.

I'm a Dale Jr fan, and would love to see him start doing better, and continue in his daddys footsteps, win some championships.

Who do I think will win the Nextel Cup, don't count out Mr. Stewart. I know he's not playing nice this year, but he is still an awesome driver.

 

I think it could be a Roush car (particularly the 6, 16, or 17), Stewart, or unfortunately, Gordon. Johnson will choke like always, which is a good thing. But Gordon's team is cheating, I mean, getting better, which means it's only going to be stronger in the end. Gosh, I really can't stand anyone who drives for Hendrick. . . In fact, I really can't stand Rick Hendrick either. . .

 

now as a dale jr fan i have to say he is doing better. and if jimmie johnson is cheating he needs to be watched alot closer i think they why DEI. cars are looking ten times better. There cars are alot better drafting. i think jr is and going to be a contendor in the nextel cup chase.

 

I haven't met a Jr fan yet that didn't think Jr wasn't gonna make the chase I will say he is running better,but i have my doubts he will win the championship

 

I'm with you cjben. Look at the 17 this year -- a bad day is still a top 15, but they still have a top 5 car every race. Jr is all over the place with consistency, ie, Vegas. Until DEI can do this, I'll say he can win a championship.
