I own a 2001 F-150 Supercrew 2WD Lariat. My locks have been acting very quirky since I bought the truck 2 years ago. About 50% of the time when I hit the unlock button on my driver's door the rear door locks will not unlock, or only one of them unlocks. Is this a reoccurring problem with other folks? I tried to search this subject but the search engine is temporarily disabled.

I had the similar problem about a year ago, on my 2001 F-150,(Extended Cab) same symptoms - anyway, took it into Ford, thinking it was covered under the extended warranty as it should have been, but of course it wasn't. It was the actuator switch or something like that, anyway ended up costing me something like $250 to get it fixed! I figured it was worth it after spending so much for the darned truck in the first place-(don't get me wrong, I Love my truck) haven't had any trouble since.
