Salvage yard score.

Hi

Went to a small local salvage yard today looking for a Radiator support for my 1970 F250 4x4. What I found out is that there are 2 different style supports for 67-72 trucks. I have the extra cooling type and there were none to be found in the 6 trucks I looked at. Can anyone explain why the differance? Larger radiator?

My score was a near perfect black dash pad in a 68 for $25.00 After seeing these sell on Ebay for darn near 75.00 I left feeling proud. There was also a nice dark blue one in a 69. I may go back and get it too.

I think the extra cooling radiator was wider. Nice going on the dash pad, was your lucky day.

The last black dash pad I saw on ebay went for $135 plus a $20 boxing fee and shipping.....

$25 is a huge deal
