Ford 9 inch ID

I am taking a 9 inch out of a 1977 ford f150 XLT camper special. It has a 460, C6 and transmission cooler (i don't know if this stuff helps). The Tag reads like this.

WFE- AB 7BA

3L25 9 388d < this is capitalized, but it makes a smiley face when i cap it.

Can you guys help me out???

Matt

Looks like it's a 9" with 3.25 ratio and a traction-lok.

It has a positive traction carrier. It's likely a 31 spline unit but you'll have to pull an axle to know for sure.

ok, thanks. I'm planning on putting this in a 95 F150 with a 300-6. Do you think it'd work? So does it have gears or clutches? When i check it out, do i have to put any kind of special gear oils back in it? Oh yeah, the 95 has anti lock brakes, can i change the drums from the 95 and put it on the other rear end?
