I swapped a 360 and C6 out of a 72 F100 to my 67 F100 and the wiring from the column isn't exactly the same. The dash wiring has what I'd call a three male and one female prong, all in one set, side by side. And the column wiring has a boxed unit at the end of the wiring. Anyone else had the problem? I tried the search option but couldn't really find anything. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
I think the easiest would be to move the TS switch from the 67. Don't forget the canceling cam. After that the newer TS switch has the hazard switch on the column? You are dealing with a power wire, horn (blue), four light wires and the stop light switch. You will need a multi-meter. I get a 12v source and start seeing what lights up! Rear stop and TS share the same element. Be sure all bulb sockets are grounded. Be sure the flashers are in good order and have at it. I do my work sitting on a chair with the TS switch on the floor of the truck. When all the lights are working, I install the switch in the column.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 02-Jan-03 AT 11:54 AM (EST)] The three male and one female plug you mention is the wiring for the neutral start switch/backup light switch. The connectors for the turn-signals, hazards, stop lights, and horn and such are in 2 connectors in 67 a 6 pin and a 2 pin.
Dennis- The pic you have is for a later column.

I'll get pics this weekend and post them so ya'll can see what I'm talking about. I'll look and make sure i'm not missing some wiring tucked somewhere else. Thanks for the help guys. I'll try and figure out what's got fire when and piece it together. Thanks.
Here is your pin out for a 67-72 column.

wow. is that 67 pin out the same for a 66. i installed a tilt wheel in my 66 and wondered about the wiring procedure. also has anyone wired in any back up lights on a 66 using a later model column. where does the power source come from? thanks. jim
Don't know if it's the same for 66. But if the wires are the same color at least you have a starting point. If your column is a 78 or 79 here is that pin-out.
78 Steering column Pin out:
White / Blue ----Front Right Turn Signal & Indicator Light
Green / White ---Front Left Turn Signal & Indicator Light
Black / Red ----- Stop light witch
Yellow/Black --Rear Left Turn Signal Light & Brake Light
Light Green -----Rear Right Turn Signal Light& Brake Light
Blue -----------Turn Signal Flasher
I have no idea on horn and flashers wires in 78/79. But Dennis will definately know that one!

I saw something somewhere that was a 70, 71 or 72 with an eight pin connector. So I believe you may be right. However I don't think the wire colors are different.
