Tune up question
I have the timing light, but the instructions for timing say to check advance at this RPM and make note of the RPM when advance starts, etc.
How does one go about checking the RPM whilst pointing a timing light at the balancer? I've thought about getting a small dash-type tach and hooking it up inside the engine bay, but I don't want to have to do that every time I time the engine from now on.
I know I could install one in the cab, and have a friend help me read it, but I don't want to have to track someone else down every time either.
Any suggestions?

Tune up question
You need a Tachometer Tester that register's in increments of 20 RPM
