Needed a front wheel bearing first trip out. Tach went so they put a new cluster on.No engine related problems. No smoke, odor, oil leaks. Engine was reflashed recently on the recall. It wasn,t doing any of the things it was supposed to fix. I have a great dealer/service tech. They will even sell you the chip and put it on. I would get one but am waiting for the new 6.4 in 2008??.

BTW if anyone is interested in a Toronto Star report of a factory sponsored drag race between the big three hauling similar loads all with the 2500 series trucks with 3.73 gears I will post the results.

I have an '06 F350 Dually, build Oct '05. I have 20,000km on it already and so far haven't had any problems with it at all. I also have a great dealer as well. I've got the 4.10's in it and I really like it for pulling around my 24' office trailer. Also I'm curious on what size of tires are you running on yours, do you still run the 245's or have you changed sizes. Mine came with the BFG Rugged Trail and I don't really like them especially in muddy conditions.

I have a 04 f-250 sd 6.0L 8' bed. My truck is a work truck.Always at least 1000 lbs of equipment in it. In an average week I haul 2-5 tons of materials. In the winter it has an 8' snowplow and salt spreader. This is my fourth f-250 and have not had any serious problems with any of them. Awesome work trucks. Take care of them and they will take care of you.

WORKING my 6.0

I pull a 5th wheel trailer on the week ends with adragster in it. I pulled across the scales once and weighed in at 17000. I braged to my dragracing buddys for 2 years about being able to pull this one big hill hit it at 65 and top it at 85mph. But I had a head gasket to go at 42000 mi and when Ford fixed it and I think detuned it with a reprogram now the best I can do on that same hill is hit it at 65 and top it at 55. My 1994 7.3 pulled the same hill hit it at 65 and top it at 65.
