HEY I REALLY NEED SOME HELP IM IN BIT OF A BIND RIGHT NOW I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE OUT THERE CAN HELP ME WITH MY PROBLEM.
I HAVE A 1970 FORD F-100 AND I RECENTLY CONVERTED IT TO DISC BRAKES USING PARTS FROM A DONOR 1979 FORD 1/2 TON I SWAPPED OUT THE I-BEAMS, RADIUS ARMS, AND AFETR I HAD IT ALL IN AND BOLTED UP I FOUND THAT THE BRAKE LINES WERE TOO SHORT THEY WILL SNAP UNDER A HARD TURN I WAS ONDEWRING IF ANYONE KNOWS IF THERE IS ANOTHER BRAKE LINE FOR A LATER YEAR TRUCK OR SOMETHING ELSE IT NEEDS TO BE ABOUT 3-4 IN. LONGER BY THE WAY IT HAS THE LINES THAT HAVE THE SQUARE END WITH THE HOLE IN THE CENTER.
ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED
Take the hoses to NAPA, that you have, have them match it end to end with one from their hydraulic catalog and then just order one four inches longer. I think on your year they used 3/8 male fitttings on both ends?
That is how I got new hoses for my F-100 when there were none listed in any catalog.
Eleanor, typing with the caps on is considered shouting, so STOP IT. You need the donor hoses or like new ones, and run them like the donor truck. That should solve your problem.
