I have a 2004 Eddie Bauer with 25k miles. Whenever I go off-road, I always seem to end up with sand and small pieces of gravel getting stuck in between the rubber strips on the driver/passenger door and the window. There are 2 strips, the visible piece on the door and a second one that is down in the door. Each has a fuzzy backing that seems to hold the grit in place. When I roll down the window the sand/gravel scratches the glass. The only way I have been able to clean the strips is to roll down the window, take a dull knife and knock the sand/gravel off. Unfortunately that is typically too late to prevent scratching the glass. Has anyone else experienced this and is there a fix?
I immediately experienced this problem, NOT HAPPY about it.
I constantly off-road hunt, fish, camp, retrieve my sailplane from muddy potato fields near anza etc. And IT SUCKS that this is a constant problem.
Other than this rant, I got nothing for you

I have matching scratches on my 04 x front windows. I had assumed because they seem to match that it happened elsewhere (factory?). I have wanted to post a similar thread to see if anyone else had the same issue.
