New fix for blown plugs?
I have yet to blow a plug, but I was wondering about this fix if it ever occured.

Napa sells a compound (kinda like JB Weld) that, once cured, will withstand 115 ft lb of torque. Anyone ever tried this?

What's the name brand?

Gotta look at tensile strength and such. Have to think about expansion of aluminum alloy and the like also.

Is it an epoxy?

I have some in my tool box at the shop, I'read the package and let you know. I used it to repair threads on the slave cylinder on my daughter's Ranger.
