No kit. Just take it out, remove the big red and black wires from the truck that are attached to it, and plug the hole in the y-pipe. There is a delete plug with a port in it to hook a boost gauge into. There's also plugs with no port in them. But, the easiest thing to do is go get an oil drain plug for the Cummins motor. It fits right in the hole.
Good instructions. Nice pictures of how much the AIH blocks the airflow too. But, you don't need the code eliminator. Removing the AIH will set a code in the computer, but it doesn't trigger an SES light or change the performance of the engine. You'll be ok with just the AIH delete plug from BCDP.
My friend, the diesel mechanic says, "Stock Will last forever". I am following that mantra because forever sounds about right to me
2000 F250 2WD SD SC LB STOCK
Installing better ball joints, bypass filtration(coolant, motor oil, tranny), higher quality inline fuel filtration, serviceing needle bearings(not according to Ford however), removing quick disconnects from prepump fuel line, changing the fuel delivery system to external regulated(deletes dead end in fuel rail), running used oil analysis checks while using a good motor oil and so on will help the PSD motor last longer("forever"). Probably a few things i missed.
