Has anyone ever tried to modify a hydralic valve to a T-18.
I am fixin to get the crew back on the road and after being used to my 2002 F150 "stick" work truck, I am not sure if my knee can handle the stress.
A hydraulic clutch? From 83 up, Ford used hydro clutches in the trucks, with both the NP435 and T18. I think the bell housing was different to hold the slave cylinder, and you'll have to modify your pedal assembly or use an 83+ assembly to run the master cyl.

ooooohhhhhhh. you got me smilin.
- What motors did these years of t-18 come with?
2nd - if anyone has a pic in their gallery, of the slave cyl., and would like to share it?
I'll be at the junkyard this weekend, so I will try and snap a pic of the mount. From what I remember of my 84, you could -probably- make a holder to fit on the side of the bell housing to hold the cyl.
I've just spent the last hour researching it thru google.
I found one guy who used the whole bit (slave cyl. to the clutch booster) off an 8? f150 t-18 that was mounted to a 302. He had to fanagle the brake rod a bit and of course drill a little to mount it. but he got it to work.
I have yet to search the trans. forums yet. I will do that tomorrow. The wife is callin for me.
She can not speak to me all day, but somehow can't seem to go to sleep with out me layin next to her. I'll never figure these females out.
