Talking 55 PANEL HEADLINER "BOWS"

I am brand new to this site. I own a 55 Panel. It was the first Grand National Champ back in the late 70's. It was Lime Green. I've just finished painting it black. Of course it is straight, it hasn't been driven much since '79! What I am wondering, how many chrome bows should there be in my headliner? The upholstery was all crushed velvet, lime green, but its going black!

Welcome and congrats on your truck. Post some pix in your gallery please. To answer your question, there is no set # of headliner bows because the panel didn't come with a headliner from the factory from the seats back.

You guys are funny. Anyway, someone did an awesome job making them look factory. I'll have to find that someone to duplicate it, as I am one short to make it look correct.

WOW!!! You weren't kidding when you said it was clean. What a great looking panel!

The sedan delivery is a great looking ride also

Thanks for sharing the pics. Good luck with the interior and paint. I can't wait to see the results

Cause I get to write them off as a tax deduction! I also have a 48 GMC Panel and a PT Panel that was at SEMA. I know, they aren't Fords, what can I say? Everyone has at least one vice--mine is collecting Panels! But PLEASE, I am not looking for more!!!!
