The rear window deflector was an available aftermarket accessory from Ford. There are some places you could check:
1. http://www.discountfordpartsaty2kford.com/ once you find what you want you can send a PM to discountfordpart and he'll give you the low down on whatever parts you need. He's an FTE sponsor so we get some better prices.
2. Check www.ebaymotors.com if you can't find it there, somethings wrong. But if you want a genuine Ford accessory, I'd go back to the top.
3. You can always go to the dealership, but they'll probably have to order the part and it cost you some either way. This is worse case scenario/last option. The first suggestion is your best bet.
I got mine, Ford part and factory pre-painted my color, on ebay form an outfit called Bones Enterprises or something like that. Ford's accesory site still list them in primer and a few body colors. Does keep the rear window somewhat cleaner.
is it a plastic piece that just screws to the top? or does it seem like a well constructed wing? and really, does it keep it that much cleaner? if so, i'd be interested..
The factory part is very well made, shaped to wrap around the edge of the lift gate with two thick mounts molded into wing. Only fasteners go into the bottom of the mounts from holes you drill in the top oif the lift gate. Mounting points in base have metal insets in the heavy plastic to take the fasteners. Driving in rain, you can see the water streaking down from the air flowing under wing. Rear window still gets dirty, but it is better than with no wing (maybe 50% better).
