Radio Condensor/ capacitor Part No
Hi,
I am trying to find a replacement radio capacitor for my 92 302 FSB. Although one is fitted I cannot find anyone who lists it as being a standard part. I've tried the obvious ones such as motorcraft, autozone, napa, LMC, JBG etc. and none of them list it. I've even looked at Mustangs of the same year (thinking they have the same/ similar motor) and they don't have one. My UK supplier of US parts can't track it down either.
So... is the capacitor a standard fittement or do I have an aftermarket part? Its got a 'fordy' looking connector on it so I assumed it was standard. Where can I get one as the noise on my radio is driving me nuts.
The alternative is if I can't get one, if someone can tell me the primary field voltage for the Ford TFI ignition I'll find one in the UK and adapt it to fit.
