Rotunda Transmission Tester experience?

Hi folks,

I've just bought one of the above testers off ebay to try and diagnose what is wrong with my E40D. I've yet to find anyone in the UK with one and no one could give me any sensible diagnosis of what's wrong so I though, hell I'll do it myself and save huge money getting it rebuilt when it might be a minor part that's causing the problems.

I'll let you know how I get on. Reading all the diagnosis charts make it look fairly straight forward to work on with this tester.

Does anyone have any experience of them? Just curious is there are any pitfalls I should watch out for.

And for anyone else in the UK, I'd be willing to loan/ hire it out if you have a problem too. It will handle AX4S, AXOD-E, AODE, A4LD, 4R44E/4R55E, CD4E, E4OD-95, AX4N, TR/MLP Sensors.

Simon
