trouble with my front end
I HAVE A 90 F-150 X-CAB 4X4.IN THE LAST 6 MONTHS I HAVE HAD 3 FRONT END ALIGNMENTS AND IT STILL IS NOT 100%.I JUST GOT NEW TIRES PUT ON THE FRONT AND I GOT THEM TO CHECK THE FRONT END,THEY SAID I HAD TOO MUCH TOE IN ON THE DRIVERS SIDE.WHICH THEY SHOWED ME ON THE PRINT OUT.I DID'NT HAVE THE MONEY TO GET IT DONE AT THAT TIME,SO I WAITED ABOUT A WEEK,THEN I WENT TO MIDAS THEY CHECKED IT AND SAID MY TOE IN WAS'NT THAT BAD BUT I WOULD NEED A CAMBER KIT THEY PUT IT IN AND IT STILL PULLS TO THE RIGHT.THEY ALSO SAID MY RIGHT SIDE COIL SPRING IS SAGGING WHICH ALSO MAY BE THE PROBLEM!THE THING THAT REALLY GOT ME WAS HE SAID"WHAT DO YOU EXPECT FOR A 16 YEAR OLD TRUCK!"(REAL PROFESSIONAL.)
CAN ANY ONE PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS ON WHAT TO DO.PUT ALL NEW FRONT END PARTS IN?OR WHAT!!!!!!.SOMETHING THAT WON'T BREAK THE BANK.

Inspections of Worn Parts

Prechecks for your alignment.
Inspect the pivot point on the Independent front suspension ( IFS ) for play or worn parts.
Inspect the brackets and bolts above the pivot point on the Independent front suspension ( IFS ) for play or worn parts.
Inspect for worn parts or play, any of the following:
Inspect the tie rod ends.
Check radius arm bushings for wear or crack.
Check gear coupling assembly (aka rag joint) on the steering column rod for play.
Check the shaft and joint assembly on the steering column rod for play.
Check for play the drag link.
Inspect the front wheel. (the front wheel bearings for play)
Inspect the ball joint for wear.
Verify correct tension on power steering belt. (tighten belt if neccessary).
Let us know what you found?
I found on a 1991 4x4 F150 the bracket bolt above the pivot point (IFS) (located in the center of the crossmember) to be worn on this particular truck I worked on. Inspect all bushing and bolts at this particular area. It had also caused the suspension system to sag.
