Stock rim width varied from 6-7 inches. You need a much larger ("monster") rim. The more widely available 16.5 x 9.75 rims are too small for that size.

What stock rims do you have? I have a set of mags that were factory and they are 16.5x9.75, these wheels worked great with my 38-15-16.5 swamper radials,

If you have the factory mags they'll be fine, if you have the narrow steelies then I would look for a new set of wheels, used 16.5x9.75 rims are pretty easy to find and usually can be had for cheap,
