64 Generator
Can some one please help. I need to replace the generator. The guy at checker said that I can just replace it with an alternator. Is this Correct? If so can some one let me know what wire goes where?

Yes you can replace the generator, but you will need to fabricate mounts, change regulators, change the wiring and come up with a belt that will work. It would give you better charging power so it is worth the trouble.
Or you could use a one wire type alternator that uses a single wire to the battery and avoid the wiring anyway.
