04 Mountaineer trans problem?
We have an 04 Merc Mountaineer V-8 with what i think is a trans problem. It is making some whining, buzzing, humming noises under any level of throttle, it just started yesterday on our way back from Fort Wayne, In. I noticed that there is no trans dipstick nor there is nothing telling me how to check it in the owners manual. Does anyone know how to check thise transmissions? Or has anyone else ran into this problem in the past? Any help at all would be great.
