All that talk of this longblock beast and its torque, what's the highest any of you have achieved with it?
What does it have stock again, like 260ft lbs at 2500rpm? Wouldn't be surprised it many have gotten it close to/over 350-400. Then again you never know. Just thought it would be fun to see.
Hell, also add any torque raiseing mods that you have used and what not, spread the knowledge.

Yep, BBC460 made about 415-420 with a hair dryer at the rear wheels through an automatic. That's over 500 at the flywheel. Mine die 272 at the wheels, which is about 310 at the flywheel, at 2100 rpm. Mine is a stock 290k mile longblock with headers on it. Since it did that I've also added an MSD, larger injectors and 3.8 V6 rocker arms, but none of that helped the torque any.
