Im looking at a 1991 ford 1/2 ton short bed, reg. cab 2wd with the I6 and a 5 Speed. Ive looked on here and saw that fuel mileage should be around 16-18 in town. The truck looks good and it only has 93000 miles on it. What is this truck worth?
On Kelley blue book's web site it says $1500 in good condition for private party. Could be $500 more or less depending on body condition. A dealer would charge more like $2500. Also might depend where you live. I live in the north and that affects the value on a 2wd rather than the southern states. What is the asking price?
Sold- Take it on a test drive again and make sure all the bells and whistles work, look for any small leaks afterward (they like to clean the engines down to hide that kind of thing , but a nice long test drive should show up any potential problems)
well i drove it. It will need a clutch soon likesummer andthewindsheild wipers willnt work motor for it is bad i think. All i have is what the truck is worth. So im going to let it set for a week or so and see if he will go down any more.
Im also going to call about a 1990 ford with a 302 5 speed for $1200.
And a 1994 ford f150 with a 6cyl and a 5 speed for i think $1600
I paid 9500.00 for my '93 in '99 with 65K miles
Dang dude!!!! I paid $4,500 for my truck. It has a 4.9L inline6 with a 5spd and 4x4. It only had 85,000. To top all that off the truck came with a 4"lift and good 33" tires. Not a speck of rust or body damage on the truck and alot of chrome trim and extras.
Paid 5600 for my 93 flareside, 4.9 5 spd 4wheel drive (and you dont have to lock the hubs) had some nice tires on it, 31X10.5s but they retail for about 180 a pop last I checked, body was really straight, and it was really red, 88K miles on it.
I was 15 and a half at the time, now I am 19 and a half (well 19 and a few months) its got about 110K miles on it, 10 of that over the last year, a silver door from a run in with a tree and a sign and a fence, and a dented fender for the same reason. Its gonna get a 6 inch lift, some 35s, a nice black paint job, and a turbo before I ever get rid of it.

Yea, I know, I know..... I paid top dollar for it, but it was driven by an old gentalmen who had health problems and his son in law sold it. It was 6 years old and 65K miles on it, ext cab, auto xmission, the blue book said 10K. This fellow had every oil change, a tire change, a battery change written down and I continued where he left off. I could not miss with this one.
FYI, I parked my 1990 F150 at the corner of Sepulvida Blvd in West LA and it sold in 2 hours, $500 over top blue book. Two other people were waiting (physically) if the #1 buyer didn't want it.
