i have a 77 f-250 that im going to put 38 inch tires on 16.5 rims what rims do i need what offset and how wide do they have to be or will the stock tires work? the tires i belive are 38x15x16.5.
I would run an 8 in wide wheel maybe 10 cause it will help keep your bead on better I would try the wheels you've got if theyre 16.5s. I have 39.5x15x16.5 swampers on a 10 or 12 in wide wheel and I wish the wheels were narower. on the sidwall of my swampers it specifies a 9.75 in wide wheel. I dont think backspacing will affect you too much so I would not worry about it much, But i've been wrong before.
"or will the stock tires work?" I assume you meant stock wheels?
and what are the actualy size of a tsl radial 38x15x16.5, what is the hight and how wide i have actualy heard that they are narower and not as tall as they actualy say what is the true size? also what are the exact size of rim that should be used?
