Torqshift testing port

Guys on my 2005 SD V10 Torqueshift trans, im looking for the testing port on the trans to install the temp sending unit, which side of the trans is it on? Also should I be looking for a hex type plug?
One more thing I installed a vacuume gauge what size hose by the throtle body should I be looking for to install the T-fitting?

It's on the driver's side, towards the front of the trans, above the pan rail. There is a black hex head plug in it.

On mine it is immediatly behind the external trans filter on the drivers side. My temp sensor had a very short head so I was able to get it in there. Good Luck!
