I have Sunpro Sport ST Transmission Temperture Gauge kit #cp7003, Elec.I under stand that the sender can be installed in the pressure test port of the transmission. If not then where? This is for a 1999 winebago M/H with a v-10 and auto.Whhere is the test port?

I don't know what transmission you have, but on the 4R100 it is on the drivers side of the transmission, just above the second (from the front) pan bolt. You have to pull the plug, (use PB Blaster...trust me) and install.

Is there any advantage to this site vs. one in the pan itself?

The test port gives a better average transmission temperature. The pan often has places where the fluid doesn't move much and the temperature can vary quite a bit.

Can the sensor go to deep to where it will cause internal trans damage? Just ordered a Max tow temp gauge.

No, it can't. But some long sensors will bottom out and the sensor can be damaged.

My GlowShift Max Tow sensor is working fine in my 4R100, has been installed for a few years now.

That's the temp that I prefer over all others.
