Crankshaft

Can the machine shop turn crank and fit new bearing's without having the rod's ?? Main bearing's and rod bearing's.

They can turn your crank by itself. BUT.....to make sure everything matches up it is a good idea to make sure they have everything, so they can check for spun main bearings, wear in the main caps, center line bore, etc. . AND..... unless you have a custom crank, it is usually just as cheap to replace the crank with a new one, due to the major amount of labor (time wise) that goes into setting up and turning a crank. What ever machine shop you are going to use, just call them up and ask them any shop questions that you have most will answer you, the ones that don't, I would not do business with.
