i have a 79 f-150 and the hazard lights work but the blinkers dont. could it be the switch under the steering wheel. i put a new flasher in there and they still wont work. i dont know what is wrong with them.

I believe your 4-way flasher circuit has a separate flasher unit from the turn signals. There's probably another flasher up under the dash somewhere.

Hey I have a 79 and had the same problem. The hazards and turn signals are separate. The turn signal flasher is attached to the drivers side wall up under the dash. So if you go up under the dash by the e-brake, feel around on the left wall pretty far up there, and you should find it. Good luck
