M5od-M5r2

Is the M5OD the same as M5R2, I'm looking at a 1991 lariatf-150 302 5 speed 4x4 the owner doesn't know what he has.
Can anyone tell me what was stock in that year truck?

Yes.

M5OD is the generic term.

M5R1 is the M5OD for the Ranger

M5R2 is the M5OD for the F-150's.

The 1989-1995 Thunderbird SC utilized the M5R2 also and would work in a gas engined 2wd f150.
