It gets so crudded up from the PCV system in most cars I just spray it out anyway. Its not like its going to hurt anything on my 162,000 mile truck anyway.

Yeah mine was coated, I'm glad yours isn't Bill. Mine was a mess, I'm guessing whoever owned it prior to me didn't clean it. He didn't do a lot of things apparently...

I like that tach, looks nice. Much better than my plain one lol.
