I was once again checking my local dealers lot today when I noticed a very, very sharp looking supercab called the "Roush Champions Edition".
It has HUGE aluminum wheels, a different (and cool looking) grille and a New England Patriots logo on the front fender on each side. It had a chrome tipped exhaust, but I'm not sure if the exhaust itself was any different. (As a New Englander and a Pats fan I'm trying NOT to let that influence me)
The truck was Darkstone color (very nice) and was an STX with 4x4 and a 4.6 V8.
Is anyone familiar with this configuration?
With no trade it could be purchased for $23,777.00

Rich, Very nice '06, I just purchased an '05 FX4 True Blue w/Charcoal accent, and black leather with flow thru console. I like the grille you installed. Did you purchase after market, if so where might I locate it?
The Roush edition is a very good looing truck Sean?
The one I looked at was really sharp and the wheels were unreal looking.
Again, I'm trying not to be influenced by the Pats logo. (half kidding)
I'm told that these are only available here in Vermont, NH and MA so I guess there won't be a whole lot of input on these.
I actually didnt like the logo at all. It seemed to me, to be of very cheap quality, and almost an afterthought. I would have fired the designer if I was in charge of that Roush truck project. Yes, the wheels are nice.....but completely useless on a truck IMHO. Yes, they should only be available in the northeast states. You might get some more info down in the New England Regional forum.

Well I purchased it through my local New England dealer. It is a Roush grille, but even though they come on the New England Roush spec trucks, my local dealer couldnt get a part number out of them to save their life! They actually ended up taking it off one of the Roush trucks they had in stock (its nice to have a dealer bend over backwards for you ). I would see if you can contact Roush direct, and at least see if they have a part number for it yet.

Yeah, real sharp looking. Wheelma's looks nice too so I guess the grille has a lot to do with it.
Like I said, my dealer told me that it's only available in Vermont, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Maybe other areas have the same truck only without the Pats logo?
The more I think about it, the more I wonder if a "plain" STX isn't the way to go. They're charging a lot extra for the 20" wheels, grille and exhaust tip.
I can stick a Pats logo in my back window like I have now in my old truck.
Also, what does the exhaust tip actually do? Does it change the sound of the 4.6 or is it for looks only?
